Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure all equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within a manufacturing environment, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment to maintain optimal performance
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Work with vendors and service technicians as needed
- Maintain spare parts inventory and identify equipment performance issues
- Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate maintenance, safety, and sanitation concerns to leadership
- Support team members with proper equipment handling and usage
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (including 480V 3-phase and control circuits)
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with conveyors, welding, plumbing, and general facility maintenance
- Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and building code standards
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
