Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support the bidding and preconstruction process. This role is responsible for reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring accurate, competitive bids to help win new business.

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid requirements to develop accurate estimates
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and ensure full bid coverage
• Prepare and distribute bid packages, addenda, and project documentation
• Analyze bids, identify scope gaps, and develop value-engineering opportunities
• Track and manage bid deadlines, ensuring timely and complete submissions
• Maintain estimating data in systems such as Timberline or similar platforms
• Collaborate with project management teams to transition awarded projects smoothly
• Follow up on bids with clients, architects, and construction managers

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills across all levels of stakeholders
• Knowledge of construction estimating, subcontractor management, and project scope review
• Experience building vendor and subcontractor relationships

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5+ years of estimating or related analytical experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience with Timberline, Quickpen, or similar estimating software preferred
