Preventive Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a maintenance Technician!
  Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance with operators and team leads.

• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and safety checks.

• Inspect safety devices and ensure equipment compliance.

• Recommend improvements to boost production and equipment performance.

• Provide facility support and assist with unscheduled maintenance as needed.

• Work overtime or alternate shifts to support maintenance coverage and production uptime.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be certified to operate all assigned industrial lifts.
• Knowledge of basic repairs, welding, and cutting procedures, setting up and operating general machine shop equipment, and correct use of machinist’s measurement tools.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, and able to work as a team player.

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, roofs, or elevated platforms.

• Comfortable working in high-noise, high-temperature environments with appropriate PPE.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual material handling throughout the shift.

• Must have good close vision, depth perception, and be able to operate vehicles safely.
