Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic! 
A leading global manufacturer and supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry. The Division you will be in manufactures and markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier.  Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on the floor.

• Assist with machine setup, installations, rebuilds, and fabrication of custom parts.

• Recommend and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

• 2+ years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.

• Proficient in:

  • Troubleshooting and mechanical repair

  • Basic welding and cutting procedures

  • Hydraulic systems

  • Shop equipment setup and operation

  • Use of machinist measurement tools

• Ability to read schematics and perform preventative maintenance with precision.

• Strong time management, safety focus, and commitment to reliability.

• Industrial forklift certification.

• Working knowledge of controls/instrumentation and basic PC skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-noise, high-temperature environments.

• Comfortable with ladders, confined spaces, and prolonged standing.
