LPN for Special EDU Student

Full time open position in our Ludlow location for a Licensed Practical Nurse  (LPN) to work one on one with a special needs student.

Responsibilities:
• Perform nursing duties as directed by RN school nurse including but not limited to G-Tube feeds, dressing changes, and toileting duties • Attend and participate in required training programs, staff meetings, and online training
• Student de-escalation and restraining as deemed necessary
• Treat all children with dignity and respect
• Promote independence and integration of the child to whom the LPN is assigned to
• Display the highest ethical and professional behavior in working with the students, parents, co-workers, other school personnel and members of the community
• Punctuality and full attendance regularly
• Understand and abide by all safety provision
• Maintain confidentially
• Report and record information daily on observations including discipline, accidents, inappropriate social behavior
• Communicate information to appropriate personnel for actions taken
• Serve as a role model for students & staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire and grooming, & an effect work ethic 
• Responsible for supervising students and assisting in maintain a safe environment
