Lead Maintenance Mechanic – Westerly, RI
Summary: Leads and performs preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facilities, utilities, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Perform basic mechanical, plumbing/hydraulic, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Work safely around 480V/3-phase systems and use electrical test equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and facility inspections.
- Manage vendors, cleaning services, landscaping, and snow removal.
- Maintain facility records, expenses, badges, keys, and parking.
- Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Experience with hand/power tools, test equipment, material handling equipment, and personnel lifts.
