General Kitchen Operator

Salary: 

We are seeking candidates for a General Kitchen Operator in Bloomfield, CT.

1st Shift:
6:15am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities of a General Kitchen Operator:

  • Process and prepare chicken, beef, and pork products
  • Load raw product into food processing equipment and monitor machine operation
  • Load seasoned product onto racks and assist with grilling and production processes
  • Accurately record and track product lots and batches
  • Inspect products to ensure quality, consistency, and food safety standards are met
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and production procedures
  • Work with team members to maintain an efficient production flow

Requirements of a General Kitchen Operator:

  • Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to operate production equipment and follow work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track product information
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the entire shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

Pay Rate: $16.94 per hour
Shift: 
615a-3p or 8a-5p
