Gage Calibration/Final Inspection Technician

Quality Technician – Calibration & Final Inspection Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accountable Quality Technician to join our Quality Department. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for gage calibration, documentation using High QA software, final inspection of aerospace components, and occasionally building gages to support production needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment with evolving priorities and takes pride in precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform calibration of measurement gages and maintain accurate documentation.

• Conduct final inspections on complex aerospace parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Assist with building custom gages for use on the production floor.

• Bubble and document blueprints using industry-standard practices.

• Support continuous improvement efforts within the quality department.

• Ensure all work is completed on time and aligns with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail with high visual acuity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other quality management systems preferred.

• Experience using High QA software strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems a plus.

• CMM programming experience with PC-DMIS is a strong advantage.
