Electrician

  The Electrician is responsible for supporting the electrical projects that impact our facilities, as well as providing machine maintenance that involves electrical adjustments.  
  Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Technician:

• Promote and maintain a safety-first culture in all maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, AC/DC drives, and controls.

• Support scheduled maintenance projects and respond to urgent electrical issues.

• Evaluate and implement efficient, cost-effective power and control solutions.

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve reliability and uptime.

• Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities across equipment and processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman Electrician license strongly preferred.

• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, including PLCs and electrical drive systems.

• Proficient in reading schematics and using electrical testing tools and standard hand tools.

• Solid knowledge of control systems, safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Proven reliability, attention to detail, and consistent adherence to safety protocols.

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, roofs, or elevated platforms.

• Comfortable working in high-noise, high-temperature environments with appropriate PPE.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and manual material handling throughout the shift.

• Must have good close vision, depth perception, and be able to operate vehicles safely.
