Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design power and control systems for custom industrial equipment. This role involves electrical schematics, control panel design, component selection, equipment testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design electrical schematics, control panels, and field wiring for automated equipment.
• 
  Size power distribution, circuit protection, wiring, motors, and drives.
• 
  Select electrical components and prepare bills of material.
• 
  Design electrical systems for industrial and harsh environments.
• 
  Ensure compliance with NFPA 79, UL 508A, NEC, and machine safety standards.
• 
  Support equipment assembly, testing, installation, and startup.
• 
  Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers on system integration and documentation.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 
  3+ years of industrial electrical design or control panel experience.
• 
  Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.
• 
  Knowledge of NFPA 79, UL 508A, and NEC requirements.
• 
  Experience with rectifiers, DC power supplies, VFDs, or servo systems preferred.
• 
  Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs is a plus.
• 
  Willingness to travel occasionally for testing and installations.
