Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to develop, program, and commission automated industrial equipment. This role involves PLC programming, motion control, HMI development, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop PLC programs using Rockwell Studio 5000, CompactLogix, and GuardLogix.
• 
  Program motion controls, servo drives, VFDs, and process automation.
• 
  Design HMI interfaces using FactoryTalk View and Optix.
• 
  Configure industrial networks, remote I/O, and machine safety systems.
• 
  Integrate sensors, process controls, and data logging.
• 
  Perform equipment testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• 
  Maintain controls documentation and programming standards.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 
  3+ years of industrial automation programming experience.
• 
  Strong Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC and motion control experience.
• 
  Knowledge of HMI development, industrial networking, and machine safety.
• 
  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Experience with FactoryTalk Optix, SQL, or C# is a plus.
• 
  Willingness to travel for commissioning and service.
