• Set up and operate high-tech CNC machines in a clean, air-conditioned facility using cutting-edge technology.

• Work from part drawings, job layouts, and specifications to perform operations including drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and facing.

• Load and operate multiple machines, adjust settings, and maintain tooling to ensure precision and quality.

• Monitor operations, inspect parts using precision measurement tools, and maintain detailed production documentation.

• Identify and report machine malfunctions or tooling issues while ensuring equipment is well-maintained and work areas are clean.
  
  Requirements of the CNC Machinist:

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school education.

• Proficiency in computerized machine controls, measurement instruments, hand tools, and shop math.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

• Experience with precision inspection tools such as comparators, microscopes, and weight scales.

• Ability to collaborate with team members and train others while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
