CNC Programmer 

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support our laser and press brake operations. This role is responsible for both on-machine and offline programming to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate has a strong CNC programming background and thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Program laser and press brake machines both on-machine and offline

• Utilize CAD and CNC software to create, edit, and manage nesting and bending programs

• Set up CNC equipment, including selecting gases, nozzles, and materials

• Retrieve and edit programs to ensure production accuracy and efficiency

• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on active jobs

• Collaborate with production staff and software engineers to ensure accuracy in checklists and documentation

• Follow proper startup and shutdown procedures for specialized equipment

• Adhere to company work practices, safety policies, and production standards

Requirements:

• Experience in a metal fabrication or machine shop environment

• Strong CNC programming experience with laser and press brake equipment

• Experience with Trumpf equipment preferred

• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate CNC controls and CAD software

• Ability to adapt to changing production schedules and deadlines

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Experience with automation and ERP systems is a plus
