CNC Lathe (1st & 2nd Shift)  Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role focuses on setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes to produce high-precision components while maintaining strict quality and tolerance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes (Okuma, Doosan, etc.)

• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process sheets

• Machine complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances (±.0010”)

• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

• Adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance

• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with teams

• Follow AS9100 / ISO quality standards and maintain documentation

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience

• Strong knowledge of multi-axis machining and GD&T

• Experience machining materials like Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel

• Proficient with inspection tools and quality standards

• Ability to work independently and mentor junior machinists

• Familiarity with Okuma/Fanuc controls preferred
