• EDUCATION: o Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent in years of experience • EXPERIENCE: o Two to five years of experience in sales (preferably B2B) o CRM (Salesforce preferred) o Some supervisory experience is a plus • SPECIAL SKILLS: o Strong relationship-builder o Excellent presentation skills o Extremely strong prospecting skills o Ability to effectively manage a large pipeline with a high closed won ratio • ESSENTIAL SKILLS: o Self-motivated with high energy and a proven ability to achieve results o Demonstrated leadership skills o Knowledge of wholesale distribution and project specification process o Strong analytical and critical thinking skills o Familiarity with budgeting and strategic planning o Superior interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), including ability to influence others and be a strong negotiator TIME TO THROW IN THE TOWEL® o Excellent project and time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment o Provide outstanding customer service o Exhibit keen attention to detail o Proficient in Microsoft Office o Proficient in Adobe Acrobat • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: o Must have acceptable office/workspace in the home o Ability to travel for multiple days, nights and weekends to train partners, distributors and key account sales teams, work at various trade shows and present to architects, contractors, end users and distributors o Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to thirty (30) pounds o Ability to stand on your feet for up to eight (8) hours at a time o Driver’s license with good driving record DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, East and Director of Domestic Sales to establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with management/office/factory staff, partners, distributors, contractors, end users and specifying architect/engineering firms. o Create, update and implement annual strategic plans with assigned key accounts and master distributors to achieve profitability. o Work with A&D department and distributor partners on construction platform (e.g., Dodge, ConstructConnect, etc.) projects. o Work with assigned master distributors and key accounts to promptly follow up on and close sales leads from trade shows, marketing campaigns, website inquiries, telephone calls and other sources. o Input leads, contacts, opportunities and tasks into Salesforce to track progress. o Provide regular training to designated personnel at master distributors and key accounts. o Participate in national, regional and local trade shows. o Prospect for new business. o Conduct hand dryer demonstrations, sales presentations, and lunch & learns for distributors, contractors, end users and architect/engineering firms. o Create sales forecasts for assigned master distributors and key accounts. o Set and achieve annual SMART goals, 90-day plans and scorecards. o Become a hand dryer industry expert on all competitor models. o Track and maintain expenses. o Maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information. o Adhere to company policies and procedures. o Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Business Development Manager, East and Director of Domestic Sales
