Position Overview

Summit Careers is currently seeking General Bakers to join the production team at Navad Bakers in East Providence. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in food preparation, restaurant work, packaging, cooking, or other transferable skills who are looking to get their foot in the door with a growing company.

No formal baking experience is required. Candidates who are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a production environment are encouraged to apply. This position starts as temporary with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general baking and food production activities.
• Work as part of a team to keep production running efficiently.
• Follow established production procedures and GMP protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Follow required dress code and food-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• No previous baking experience required.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with food preparation, restaurant work, cooking, packaging, or production is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced food production environment.
• Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet and assisting with production tasks throughout the shift.
