Steam/Electrical Maintenance Technician
Summit Careers is currently hiring a Steam/Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team!
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and work on 3-phase power and electrical equipment
- Perform maintenance and repairs on high-speed production equipment
- Work with steam boilers and related components
- Cut and thread black iron pipe manually to make necessary repairs
- Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting
- Assist with light welding and fabrication as needed
- Perform maintenance work safely and efficiently
- Support production by performing additional duties outside the normal scope of work when needed
Requirements:
- Familiarity with 3-phase power and electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of steam boilers and components is a plus
- Ability to cut and thread black iron pipe manually
- Light welding and fabrication experience preferred
- General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and painting
- Comfortable working at heights
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
