1st Shift Maintenance Technician

We have a need for an experienced Maintenance Technician in the Enfield, CT area. 

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including replacing defective parts and ensuring proper operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Read and interpret schematics and diagrams to diagnose issues and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Communicate with supervisors and management regarding equipment status, repairs, and scheduling, while completing all required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, process specifications, and support plant quality and productivity goals, including working overtime when needed!

• Basic English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehend).
• Intermediate math skills
• Intermediate Computer Skills
• Knowledge of hardware selection, identifying systemic root causes and process improvements.
